This place is literally the best place in Boise. The combinations of flavors and quality of food amazes me Everytime. I usually get the entrees rather than the pasta here and I have been impressed each time. My significant other usually gets the pasta and he has given just as much praise. The service here is also so caring and welcoming, it makes me just want to hang out there longer. The drinks are quite delicious too. If your a foodie and love great service, defiantly go here. They show a lot of creativity, care, and quality in their food, service, and atmosphere.

Tonight was an amazing first experience at ALAVITA with my hubby!! The staff was very professional, informative about their menu, and super friendly!! You can taste the passion that goes into their food and the flavors just sing in your mouth!! We will definitely be coming back for sure!!

The mussels were outstanding. The gluten free pasta in my seafood dish was not cooked well; however it was loaded with seafood, which made up for it. Nice atmosphere and good service. I would go back.

Phenomenal! Our family loves Italian and have hit some very good places in our travels all over the world. This, for me definitely at the high end of the list. And in our own backyard to boot!I loved the the black ravioli. It was excellent. The fresh donut dessert finished it off with an exclamation.Service was prompt and friendly. Wait was short. And atmosphere was very relaxing. Will definitely be back.

Very nice cod fish with risotto following excellent charcuterie catching up with old friends. A memorable evening.

Awesome for what it was a restaurant focused on great plating good food at an affordable price nothing on this menu will blow you away with quality however it won't leave you disappointed either very nice feeling decently prepared tasty meal at a price that's still affordable for the average person

Very nice place, great atmosphere, food is excellent and the waiters are very professional ... to top it all of ...the owner adds a special touch by offering a free icecream desert for our youngest family member and coloring book as well.. Thank you

This spot really is about as good as it gets when you are looking for fresh, seasonal food with a fun Italian flare. This was our second trip in and I think it was about as good as the first time in minus a few hiccups with service. This was our anniversary dinner and a meal that we have been looking forward to all month.... and it did not disappoint. They even bought us a dessert to top it all off, really great dessert too! Thank you so much.

This has always been one of our date night places. Customer service is always professional and efficient! The wine was lovely (glass of Cab Sauv and Sauv Blanc). The mussels were very nice. My hubby got the a nice flat noodle, meat, red sauce dish that is heavenly. I got the Black Ravioli in a cream sauce with shrimp and crab. I've always wanted to try it yet was honestly, a little underwhelmed. The flavor just seemed slightly off and did not sit well with my stomach. I've never been disappointed at Alavita and would hate to say it because I love this restaurant - yet, I was disappointed in my personal meal. Everything else was great but to leave with a disappointed dish the last taste on your tongue has me questioning if/when we go back. This breaks my heart even typing this.

Every time I eat here I love it more than the last time. I almost always get the nightly special and every time it's tasty and reminds me of my grandma's cooking

Consistently great service and food. There are plenty of gluten free options if needed. The portions are normal sized. Wonderful flavors; you want to savor these bites! The decor and ambiance are also unique and attractive. Nice that you can see the whole team of employees working together well.

Squid ink bucatini. Delicious! Visit with great friends! Make a reservation or squeeze into the bar if you eat early. It's worth it!

Really enjoyable dining experience. If you're looking for a date night in teh heart of Boise I would highly recommend. An interesting menu with some unexpected twists.

This is hands down my favorite resturant in Boise. Their pasta is hand made, and the service is personal. If you go more then once, they will remember you. It is a pleasant feeling sitting down to dinner when you feel like they know you.

Fantastic service and excellent food plus a suave, romantic ambiance. Entire staff was very friendly and attentive, clearing plates and filling water quickly, checking to make sure we didn't need anything else. Food was outstanding, from the winter citrus & arancini appetizers to the fresh-made pasta. Cocktails also excellent, especially the smoked cocktail that comes in an inverted glass filled with smoke from a scorched piece of wood.

Great little restaurant in downtown Boise. Had the lobster ravioli and it was delicious. Just wish the portion size was a bit bigger. Left me craving more. Even just some veggies on the side or bread would have made my 4 star review a 5 star! Otherwise, great food and great staff. Will likely be back again!

Well worth the wait. We are from out of town, and ALAVITA was recommended to us by a friend who lives in Boise. All 4 people in the party enjoyed their orders. The service was excellent too!

Extremely good pasta and the mushrooms were to die for. We picked a random wine off the menu and it was a great pairing. The atmosphere was beautiful, we loved the different art pieces and textures throughout the restaurant. We'll be back again for our fancy dinner nights.
